academic safe adventures
Until school resumes for in-person learning…
ASA in collaboration with the Bellingham School District will take on a different look during Covid, with our Academic Safe Adventures program.
Starting September 8th, 2020, ASA will offer child care and online school (Bellingham learning Option #1, students will return to their schools in person when allowed).
To participate in Academic Safe Adventures at The Firs, students must be enrolled in a Bellingham Elementary School.
This program will continue until school resumes in person. Please watch for communication as the school district moves through the reopening stages
Hours
7:00 am – ASA is open
8:20 am – STUDENTS MUST BE ONSITE by this time
8:30 am – Online learning starts
Noon – Lunch (students need to bring a sack lunch)3:00 pm – School Ends and Play begins
5:45 pm – ASA closing time
Days
2, 3, 4 or 5 days/week — Parents can choose depending on availability.
We do have limited space due to Covid.
Cost
$47 / day and will be billed monthly, depending on weekly schedule chosen.
Students will need to bring:
- Learning Devices and Learning materials (distributed by the BSD)
- LUNCH and a SNACK, (families my pick up a weekly food box from the school district to help with lunches for the week)

ASA will continue to provide quality child care for students, Kindergarten through Fifth grade, during these uncertain times of Covid-19 mitigation. Whether school is in session or out, ASA will be open for After School Adventures and
